This hero pack will scratch a variety of Heroscape itches: a mayhem-inflicting leader, two well-tuned support figures, and a great filler character. Kyntela Gwyn, the elf girl, is useless at present, but don't let that stop you.

Cyprien, the vampire lord, is a 150-point bully: a lightning-fast stealth flier who deals out d20 damage (the gold standard of defense bypassing in Heroscape) and heals his wounds by drinking the blood of those he slays. That's right, he rewards you for doing what you wanted to do anyway: fly around knocking off weak, overmatched squad figures. His girlfriend Sonya has little value by herself except as a harasser, but boosts Cyprien's dangerous Chill Touch attack as long as she's alive. She has a nice drawback ("Eternal Heartbreak") that will inflict wounds on her if Cyprien is killed, making it less obvious which one to go after.

For 90 points, the Warden combines a range of 7 on his normal attack, a melee special attack of 5, and a move enhancement for all guards you control. He has a high-defense and low-life setup that makes him prone to sudden collapse, but I much prefer his kind of combat-ready support hero over the type that lacks any fighting skills at all.

Isamu, the little ninja, is the cheapest hero in the game at 10 points. The annoyance generated by his Vanish special power must be seen to be believed. On a good day, he can soak up multiple enemy attacks, any one of which might have killed a figure worth three times as much.
